The Story of Broken Grape

BrokenGrape is founded on the idea of getting wine enthusiasts out of the tasting room and into the vineyard. Evan McKibben has a passion for teaching viticulture and sharing his experiences in growing Texas wine.

Starting in 2004 by co-establishing a Central Texas winery, Evan quickly gained a love for growing grapes in Texas. From Ft. Davis to Brownfield and down to the Texas Hill Country, his experiences with Texas terroir is varied and comprehensive. Learning the different regions has taught him the hardships and rewards of being a true Texas grape grower.
